Blue Green Easy Sudoku Book Worksheet
Hey there, puzzle solver! Are you ready to tackle your first Sudoku? It might look tricky, but with these five easy tricks, you’ll be filling in those squares in no time!
-
Start with the Obvious Look for numbers that are already given in each row, column, and 3×3 box. These are your clues! If you see a number, that means it can’t appear anywhere else in that row, column, or box.
-
Use the Process of Elimination If you’re not sure what number goes in a square, think about what numbers it can’t be. Cross out the impossible ones, and you might be left with only one choice!
-
Look for Missing Numbers In each row, column, and 3×3 box, all the numbers from 1 to 9 should appear once. If you notice a number is missing, try to figure out where it could go.
-
Use Pencil Marks When you’re not sure about a number, use tiny pencil marks to write down all the possibilities in a square. As you solve more of the puzzle, you can erase the ones that don’t work.
-
Take It One Step at a Time Don’t try to solve the whole puzzle at once! Focus on one area at a time. When you get stuck, move to a different part of the grid. Sometimes, solving one number can help you figure out others.
